reason of defeat of indian team in world cup 20-20

Batting first India scored 186 for 5 in prescribed twenty overs. India lost two early wickets. Murali Vijay, highest scorer of the previous match was out in just second ball of the match without opening his account. India lost their second wicket at the score of 32 as Dinesh Kartik was caught in the bowling of Jaques kallis at his individual score of 16 runs. Suresh raina and yuvraj Singh pull the Indian innings to 120. They had a partnership of 88 runs in 10.2 overs while yuvraj Singh lost his patience and got out at his individual score of 37 runs in 30 balls with 3 boundaries and two sixes.

Suresh Raina played a marvelous innings of 101 runs in just 60 balls with nine fours and five sixes. India could score 66 runs in last four overs of the match due to superb innings of Suresh Raina after dismissal of Yuvraj Singh.

South Africa was not comfortable innitially in chasing huge target of 187 runs set by the Indians. Thery started cautiously but lost their first wicket at 21 in 4.4 overs. However, Jaques Kallis and Greem Smith pulled the innings to 118 till Smith run out at 15.5 overs. South Africa was 118 for 2. India was 120 for 3 at the same point.

Jaques Kallis was next to go who scored 73 runs in 56 balls with three fours and three sixes. Finally South Africa could score 172 runs losing five wickets in prescribed twenty overs and lost their first league match by 14 runs.

Suresh raina was declared man of the match for his centurian innings.
